Riding and Caring tips for Your Horse
1. If you're riding western make sure there is a line from horn to bellybutton to cantle.

2. If you're riding english it's basically the same thing but you don't have a horn.

3. Remember when riding if you fall off always get back on.

4. Always remember the hardest part of riding is the ground. Unless the ground is covered in pillows. On that hand you're safe.

5. Never call you're horse stupid or an idiot because even though they're animals they still have feelings, and yes they can understand you.
Care Tips

1. When brushing your horse start from the head and work your way down to the hind quarters.

2. When fly spraying again start from the head and work your way back. Also do not get fly spray in a horses eye.

3. When hoof picking always face the hind quarters.

4. Use tools properly.
Barrel Racing Tips

1. When practicing at home finish the last barrel by going back to the rail or your horse will start to trail off when you go around it.

2. Do not cross your reins while going around each barrel. It confuses the horse.

3. Keep your reins short that way you have more controll.

4. Focus.

5. Don't look at the barrel you're going around look at the barrel you are heading towards.

6. Picking the correct bit is also very important.
 Bareback Tips

1. Make sure you can ride well before doing anything more than a walk.

2. When gripping grip where the girth goes. It doesn't speed them up. If it did you'd be in big trouble.

3. If you need help balancing use their mane. They can't feel it.

4. If worst comes to worst and you are falling off, grab onto their neck and slide off. It works for me.
